Canva Magic Studio is Canva’s collection of AI-powered creative tools designed to help users generate, edit, transform, write, translate, animate, and manage visual content directly inside Canva. Rather than operating as a separate AI application, Magic Studio brings generative AI and automation into Canva’s existing visual communication platform, allowing users to move from an idea or prompt to a finished design without needing advanced graphic-design skills. Canva introduced Magic Studio in 2023 as a major expansion of AI throughout its design platform.

One of the central features is Magic Design, which can turn a text description or uploaded media into a collection of customized designs. Instead of starting with a blank canvas, users can describe what they want or provide an image and receive design suggestions based on the content, format, and intended style. Magic Design can be used for presentations, posters, cards, flyers, invitations, business cards, documents, and social-media content. For video creators, Magic Design for Video can combine uploaded images and video clips into short-form video content.
