Equals AI
Equals is an AI-powered spreadsheet and business intelligence platform designed to help companies connect, analyze, model, and report on live business data…
OpusClip is an AI-powered video clipping and editing platform designed primarily for turning long-form video into short-form content for social media. It analyzes uploaded or imported videos, identifies potentially useful moments, converts them into shorter clips, and automatically applies features such as captions, reframing, transitions, and other edits. OpusClip says its platform had been used by more than 16 million creators and businesses and that more than 440 million clips had been created as of December 2025.
The platform is built around automated video repurposing. Users can upload long-form recordings or import videos from supported services, after which OpusClip’s AI analyzes spoken content, visual elements, audio, emotion, and other signals to identify moments that can work as short-form videos. Its ClipAnything model is designed to work with a wide variety of content, including podcasts, interviews, vlogs, sports, gaming, explainers, and videos with little or no dialogue.
OpusClip’s AI clipping system can also be guided with prompts. Users can specify the type of moment they want to find, select clip lengths, choose a timeframe, or refine generated clips through additional instructions. This gives creators more control than simply accepting automatically selected highlights.
Another major component is AI reframing. OpusClip can convert landscape footage into vertical, square, or other formats while tracking moving subjects. Its ReframeAnything technology is designed to keep important subjects centered when adapting videos for different social platforms. Pro and Business plans provide additional aspect-ratio and reframing controls.
The platform also includes AI-generated captions, animated caption templates, keyword highlighting, emojis, AI B-roll, AI voiceover, speech enhancement, filler-word and pause removal, transitions, and text- and timeline-based editing. Higher-tier plans provide more extensive editing and media-generation capabilities.
OpusClip also supports publishing and workflow automation. Depending on the subscription, users can connect social accounts, publish directly to platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, schedule posts, and manage content through a team workspace. Pro includes limited API access, while Business adds API and custom integrations.
For professional editors, OpusClip can export projects to Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve on eligible plans. This allows users to use OpusClip for automated clipping and then continue more detailed editing in professional video-production software.
OpusClip was founded in 2022. The company says its platform has evolved from an AI clipping product into a broader AI video creation and editing agent, with features covering clipping, editing, publishing, workflow automation, and team collaboration.
OpusClip currently offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Business plans.
Annual billing can reduce the effective monthly price, with OpusClip advertising savings of up to 50% depending on the plan.
OpusClip is primarily focused on video repurposing rather than general-purpose video production. Its workflow is particularly suited to creators and teams that already produce long-form videos and need to turn those recordings into multiple short-form pieces for social media.
One of its key strengths is automated clip selection. ClipAnything considers spoken words as well as visual, audio, and sentiment cues, allowing it to work beyond traditional talking-head podcasts. Users can also use prompts and other controls to guide the selection process.
The platform goes beyond simply cutting clips. Automatic captions, AI reframing, B-roll, voiceover, speech enhancement, filler removal, transitions, social scheduling, and publishing tools can reduce the number of separate steps required to prepare short-form content.
Its integration with professional editing workflows is another useful feature. Pro and Business users can export projects to Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, allowing OpusClip to handle initial clipping and reframing while professional editors retain control over subsequent production.
The main limitation is that the platform’s strongest capabilities are tied to paid plans and credit allowances. The Free plan is restricted, includes a watermark, and does not provide editing functionality. Higher-volume creators therefore need to consider both their required credits and the features included with each subscription.
OpusClip is particularly relevant for podcasters, YouTubers, educators, marketers, media companies, agencies, and businesses that regularly need to transform long-form footage into short-form social content.
